That model 10 chopped to 3” and mount a standard dovetail front sight, round butt it, makes a great house gun. I’ve got one I did that to as well as a matching model13. Does well as a knocking around carry gun as well. The 36 may be quite good shooter, I’ve also got an older Model60 that has no issues hitting a 18x24 Steel Challenge plate at 75. The 17’s are just cool small game guns,…….congrats on your score.
