Revolvers

I have been trying to figure out what to do with the new .454. New old actually. The gun was built in 1989 but is still new in the box. Unfired. Obviously it has the old style firing pin. It has the Pachmayr's on it as well. Better than average for a stock FA trigger but trigger job wasn't designated on the box. Hunting season is here and since I didn't get drawn for any of the draw tags I wanted I am sticking to deer. I already have a bunch of guns in rotation. So the plan is put it up and after season is over send it for the firing pin and and change the stocks. I will probably get Zane to make them. Although I would like to keep at least one open sighted I think this is getting scoped. My eyes just need a scope to take advantage of the gun. After I figure out the optics I'll get Randy to stich up a cow hide to fit it. Yep, I needed another hunting handgun. Still on the look out for a few. I guess I will worry about deer season first.
