This is one of my Ruger 357 Maximum 10.5” SBH’s. I have this mount on this 10.5” & a 7.5” Max. Both wear an Ultradot L/T.

That's the reason I never tried it on a 44 magnum. It's a neat base but I think it's limited. Never could get more than 5-10 rounds of 480 and it would be loose. So far after 60 rounds my 480 hasn't shook the GH mount loose. If it does I just may drill and tap for the second hole. It would be hidden under the rear sight if I ever went to irons. The 357 Max isn't exactly a pussycat but it holds for it.
