Books Worth a Read
I am an avid advocate for using revolvers for handgun hunting. One of the absolute best books available in my opinion is Max Prasac’s Gun Digest Book entitled “Gun Digest Book of Hunting Revolvers”.

Bowen Classic Arms makes a Target Steel click adjustable rear sight that I have installed on all my revolvers that I hunt with. A McGivern Big Gold front sight works great on my 500 S&W X-frame 6.5 inch ported semi-lug profile revolver. Too bad S&W discontinued that 500 S&W revolver. It balances great and the profile resembles a 5 inch model 629 44 magnum proportionally.
