Doe with 45 Colt
I ended the season with this doe and a Ruger Bisley in 45 Colt. She walked out and posed for the shot at 35 yards, and was one hop from the property line, so I shot her high in the shoulder. The 265 gr. Swift Aframe dropped her where she stood.

Great doe and great story, thanks for sharing. 45 colt is my favorite cartridge to hunt with. I'm planning to try loading those Swift 265 and 300 in my 45s and 454s this year. Very cool to hear about your success with that setup.
