The beginning of the wonder gun.

I am going to start a new thread as I work through the process of the new .460 Rowland. No complaints about the .460 based on a Glock that I already have. Before starting any custom gun whether it be a revolver, single shot or auto I belive in having a plan. Inorder to do so I ask myself questions. In this case the gun will be based on a G21SF. Here are the questions and the ultimate answer will be the actual gun. I will do a post on each of the questions as this project gets underway.

  1. What purpose is the gun needed for and what requirements will it have to meet to fullfill the intended purpose?

  2. Are there any parts of the gun that will be a compromise to fullfill a specific purpose other than the main purpose?

  3. If there is going to be a compromise what can I do to aliviate the situation that is a compromise?

  4. What is the budget for the project?

  5. Are there time constants in place for the project?

  6. Will I be able to do all of the work or am I going to have to have someone else do part of the work?

What is the budget for the project? Right now counting the mount and scope which I already have it looks like this is going to run about 2000.00 or about what a Bisley Hunter or Super Redhawk with a good scope costs.
