Savage 110 PCS
Looking for some feedback on the Savage PCS.
I'm looking at making up a new SP. I currently have SP's in Rem. 20VT and CZ 17 HMR. Both of these have seen a lot of action in the PD fields.
While doing some searching, I came across the Savage 110 PCS. There are a few video reviews on it, but some of these guys don't have a clue what there using or how to use it.
Do a search here, I did come across some information, but not very much.
I have a 6 BR Savage model 10 rifle that is very accurate and have had no issues. I have no experience with the model 110, but like all firearms you'll hear about some issues people have had.
My 17 HMR has a MDT chassis which is the same model the Savage PCS has. Very nice chassis for me.
I haven't decided which caliber yet to go with. If I get the small bolt face setup, I'll make it into a 20 Practical. If I go with the large bolt face, it'll be a 6 BR. Since I'm already loading for these 2 I don't have to invest in other dies, etc.

I own one in a 308. I have had it for a while and killed a deer with it. Not sure what exactly you want to know but if your looking for a bolt handgun it works well and is a lot better on your wallet than other options out there. Left hand bolt is nice in the handgun format but not great if you add a brace, accepts normal mags, accuracy was better than expected, easy to carry, I would have liked to see a little longer barrel, works good as a suppressed handgun option, the adaptor for a brace is nice to have or you can SBR with a folding stock. It seems to be a compromise on every aspect. I tend to grab the revolvers still over this gun. I think for prairie dog or open country hunting it would make for a great option. I also like that the savage prefit barrels are easy to swap. Oh and the MDT chassis is top quality. If you have specific questions feel free to PM me. This is just my perspective of course.
